A while ago I decided to get more into working out. This was not easy. I hate it! However, a friend recommended Punk Rope and after one class I was hooked! I’ve never been to such a fun workout class.
I’ve been a faithful Punk Roper for years. At the end of the workout I’m drenched with sweat and feel like a million bucks! The music kicks butt and the strong element of play keeps you smiling!
I have never ever exercised regularly, because I found it daunting and honestly, just not enjoyable. Punk Rope changed that for me. I had so much fun and the people were really friendly.
I didn’t expect to love it, but I do. There’s none of the boredom that comes with the endless reps of most workouts. Unlike other boot camps where the instructors scream at you drill sergeant style (believe me, that would not go over well with this broad), Tim pushes you beyond what you think you’re able to do with simple encouragement. Telling someone they’re doing great is more effective than telling them they suck.
Beastanetics is awesome. I enjoy it and have seen good results from doing it. Tim Haft, the dude in charge, has designed a really great program. Basically, you work your ass off for a short period of time…and I mean really work. No joke. This is more effective than “moderate” exercising over a long period. You WILL see results. You will also find it surprisingly enjoyable. Tim is a cool guy and a great motivator.
Tim is supportive and inspiring and definitely knows his stuff. The attitude is low-key but the workout is not: you won’t believe how long 20 seconds feels (or how short the recovery feels), but the results are worth the effort. Recommended for anyone from couch potato to elite athlete. You can push yourself as hard as you want to or hold back if you’re dying. The group atmosphere is great too, supportive and fun.
I attended a Punk Rope Workshop based on my interest in jumping rope. I was not prepared for, but delighted to have learned as much as I did. The remarkable benefit of the class is its format, which allows for participation by students of a wide range of abilities. Punk Rope continues to be the class I am most excited to teach.
Tim & Shana put on a great seminar, which was both fun and educational.
As a coach it was awesome to learn progressions that work for double unders, improve my own rope jumping, and see our athletes get their very first double unders! We look forward to having them back in the near future.
The Punk Rope Workshop was truly amazing. I haven’t had that much fun working out in a while.
This is what I needed to take my own fitness to the next level.
Thank you for giving me the inspiration I needed both professionally and personally!
