HOW DO I START A CLASS?
If you’re “all about” play, rope jumping, building community, and sharing great music, we’d love for you to start your very own Punk Rope class. Just follow the easy steps below:

1) Get certified as a Punk Rope instructor. For information on Punk Rope Workshops contact Tim Haft.
2) Get certified as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor—if you’re not already. We’re more than happy to recommend reputable certifying fitness organizations. For advice, call us at 646-654-0668.
3) Get certified in Adult CPR.
4) Purchase fitness liability insurance, especially if you plan to launch a private class.
5) Once you’re certified as a Punk Rope instructor, contact us about pitching the class, or, if you’re the DIY type, rent a space and launch your own class. We’ll be happy to brainstorm with you about marketing and publicity.

WHAT’S HOPPING FOR HEALTH?
Hopping for Health
is Punk Rope’s rope jumping program for kids. We launched the program in November 2009 to help combat the childhood obesity and sedentary living crises. Hopping for Health can be used for physical education classes, recess, or afterschool activities, and has been well received by educators around the nation. For more information about Hopping for Health contact Tim Haft. Support Hopping for Health by entering our raffle and join us for the big drawing and celebration on December 6, 2010 at 9pm at Otto’s Shrunken Head (538 E. 14th St bet Avenues A & B) in New York City.
