Are there any prerequisites?
No. Everybody is welcome. We’ve had plenty of laypersons attend the Punk Rope Workshop including teenagers.

How much does the workshop cost?
Regular rate: $209. Early bird rate: $169. Host staff/members: $129. Need-based scholarships are available. To discuss a flat rate for an exclusive workshop for your staff contact Tim Haft.
Will I be required to pass an exam?
No. In essence, the entire workshop is an exam. It’s usually obvious by the end of the workshop, which participants are interested in, and capable of, teaching Punk Rope.
What should I wear/bring to the Punk Rope Workshop?
Wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers (we prefer flat-soled shoes). Bring a notebook and pen, a change of clothes, water, a healthy snack, and lunch — unless you prefer to go out for a bite during the break.
How long is the Punk Rope certificate valid for?
The certificate is valid for life so long as you adhere to the guidelines stated in the Punk Rope Instructor Agreement.
Do you charge certification maintenance or instructor network fees?
No. Once certified, you are a lifetime member of the Punk Rope family. As such, we hope that you’ll turn others on to our products, services, and approach.
After completing the workshop what can I do with my certificate?
You can teach Punk Rope at any facility willing to hire you to do so, or you can launch a private class. Either way, we’re happy to brainstorm with you about how to jumpstart your Punk Rope teaching career.
How can I find Punk Rope Workshops in my area?

How can my facility host a Punk Rope Workshop?

I will need to leave early. Can I still get my certificate and CECs?
It would be preferable to take a Punk Rope Workshop at another time when you can stay for the duration. If you leave early, you may miss some valuable information, which would be critical to your success as an instructor. That said, your workshop presenter will decide if you can leave up to 30 minutes early.
If I sign up for a workshop and can’t attend, what are my options?
- You can transfer your registration to a future workshop provided space is available.
- You can transfer your registration to a friend or colleague.
- You can request a refund but will be assessed a $75 cancellation fee.
