WHAT IS BEASTANETICS?
Created in 2009 by certified personal trainer, Tim Haft, Beastanetics is a high-intensity, interval-training program, which utilizes traditional and creative calisthenics and plyometrics to increase stamina, strength, power, speed, agility, athleticism, metabolism, and fat loss. It’s back-to-basics, no-nonsense fitness. Though the workouts are challenging, less strenuous alternatives are always presented making the program accessible to people of almost any fitness level. WHAT IS HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)?
HIIT features short bursts of intense exercise followed by brief periods of rest. Studies demonstrate that HIIT improves cardiorespiratory fitness (Kessler, Sisson, and Short), insulin sensitivity (Boutcher), HDL cholesterol levels, and fat loss, and that it reduces the risk of heart disease (Swain and Franklin).
After only one 8-week session of Beastanetics, our students can run faster, hold a plank longer, squat deeper, do more push-ups, and jump further and with less impact. They also feel better, sleep better, look better, and are less stressed and more confident.
Your instructors will challenge you, while making sure you feel safe and supported, and the Beast community is well-known for being friendly and welcoming. Class size is limited to ensure students receive plenty of individual attention.
