Punk Rope’s mission includes:
1) helping people of all ages to get fitter and healthier

3) discovering, sharing, and promoting original music
4) giving to those in need

Punk Rope improves stamina, strength, power, agility, coordination, balance, rhythm, and timing. Punk Rope burns calories at a high rate and can be an effective addition to a weight management program.

Punk Rope is one of the only fitness classes, which emphasizes play. Play reduces stress, stimulates the brain, and fosters social interaction.

Punk Rope is appropriate for exercisers of nearly any fitness level.

Punk Rope can happen anywhere. Classes have been conducted at bowling alleys, rock ‘n’ roll clubs, city parks, art galleries, and even the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Punk Rope classes are themed and celebrate everything from the Super Bowl to St. Patrick’s Day to Super Heroes to Swedish National Day.

Punk Rope has collaborated with the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, City Harvest, The Food Bank, TASC, Morrisania WIC, HealthCorps, the New York City Department of Education, The US Department of Health and Human Services, and countless other non-profit organizations and government agencies to help promote health and fitness.
